Yes, shes real and shes lovely and shes there with Les onboard nb.Valerie.
They look so happy together, so well suited and so much in love.
Jaq was busy in the galley when we arrived, bread fresh from the oven, a huge dish with cherries ready to go in and still she rustled up a sandwich for V and me, not just any sandwich but one of Jaqs own with all kinds of things Ive never seen in a sandwich before, absolutely wonderful.
They look good together, Les is constantly smiling like a cat that got the cream and Jaq has taken to the boat like a fish to water, she is very much at home.
Our very best wishes to you both, Les and Jaq, for a long and happy life together.

Hello Mo! It was so grand to meet you and V in person, and looking forward to us all catching up to one another many times, to chat and nosh and share. Thank you for your lovely tribute. How lucky am I? I’ve found true love, with an Englishman in a narrow boat and he’s given me all of England–and I didn’t even have to muck about with royalty!!
